Do I have to request a match? Currently, you dont have to request a match and have it accepted before reporting results. This is optional. The idea of requesting matches might help you if you cant find someone to play with or you're concerned that the player might deny that the match was supposed to happen. You can just go ahead and post results without requesting the match first if you like. What is a match? A match is a 4 race cup in Mario Kart DS. There may be ties between the players. Hacking includes the use of any Action Replay codes. You may NOT create multiple accounts on the website. How is my 'Score' Calculated? There are 2 ways. If you go to the "Report Results" page, you should see the players in your tournament game and a button to click 'report results'. If you go to the tournament bracket, you should also see the 'report results' button there. What happens if my tournament match was a tie? Play matches until someone wins. The 'Report Results' feature for tournament matches has a field where you can fill in the number of ties that happened before one player won enough games to win the whole match. I'm still in the tournament but I dont have an opponent, what do I do? You dont have to do anything. Just wait for the current round to be over an then you should get an opponent in the next round. Be thankful for the free pass. What happens if my opponent doesn't show up for the match? You should try as hard as possible to get the match to happen. Contact your opponent (you can check his contact info in his user page) and find out when you can play against each other. If he doesn't show up for the match, you can submit the result of you beating him. This shouldn't change either of your ratings in the overall site ranking, but will advance you to the next round (it counts as a pending match). What if my opponent doesn't verify the result I submitted? You should always verify results and attempt to get your opponent to verify the result. If you cant get him to verify the result, the submitted winner will still advance, but there wont be rating changes in the overall site ranking. Contact an admin if you suspect your opponent is trying to cheat somehow. |
